Our privately guided Arctic adventures are committed to ensuring you experience the vast and diverse northern wilderness in the safe hands of our expert polar guides.
The 'last frontier' can be a harsh environment but as polar expedition outfitters with over 20 years of working in the far north we do our utmost to ensure you are well equipped to travel in relative warmth and comfort close to nature.
We help you plan every phase of your polar adventure, advising you on the best seasonal time frame and best region to travel (we currently operate in 6 out of the 7 Arctic countries). Our expert polar guides are there to show you, your family and your friends the wonders of the pristine polar environment. The range of cultures, animals to view and regions to visit is immensely varied- from the Inupiat’s sacred treeless tundra of Arctic Alaska to the dense snow bound forests of the Sami reindeer herders.
We have 'ground-truthed' all the locations we currently outfit and we know each and every guide personally.
On a family dogsled expedition in Arctic Lapland for example you will stay each night in elegant, rustic wilderness log camps and on extended trips in traditional Sámi 'kortas' (tipis) and Lappish reindeer herder camps. Your expedition chef will ensure you will enjoy freshly prepared organic local meals with good wine. In the evenings you can relax with drinks by warm cozy wood-burning stoves and unwind after a day on the trail together as a family in the privacy of your own invigorating wood-fired saunas.
Whether you choose to journey through the snow-covered boreal forests and frozen lakes by dog-team, or venture further afield to track Alaskan brown bears on foot using a bespoke floating expedition vessel or go in search of polar bears with native expert trackers in the High Arctic we will be there every step of the way to help you realize your dream Arctic adventure holiday.
